im lost in the himalayas

it all started when i was abducted by the gremlins of teh west. they took me to the magician of cards who said i was the chosen sacrifice for the stew of consentaion. i knew it was going to be a terrible stew so i refused and told him id get a better ingredient. i headed off for the gobi desert to find the orb of the stars. when i found it it lead me to the land of ever lasting twilight there i met an eskamo who told me the constelation of orian will guide me. after leading me to the himalayas he left me leaving only a laptop with internet acsess. now i must find the snow whale or il be doomed for eternity in a bath of liqued ice. PLEASE HELP!!!

Raising kids in the country?

Me, my husband and my 5 yr old and 2 yr old are about to move from LARGE suburban town to a very small country town about 45 minutes away. As the moving date gets closer I am getting more nervous. I am worried what to do to entertain my kids. WE dont go out 24/7 but yes my kids enjoy there once a week trip to Mcdonalds to get ice cream and play, they (and mom) love the big park across the street, the movie theatre is only 1 mile away and walmart is walking distance from our home. The new town has NOTHING. It has a sonic, 2 gas stations a dollar general and THATS IT. They are building a grocery store but it wont be done for 4-5 more monthes. We will be living in an actual community with neighbors, BUT its in the middle of now where with cornfeild and dirt roads all around. How do you cope???

FYI we are moving there not by choice but by necessity financially. The only other homes we could afford to rent were in HORRIBLY unsafe neighbor hoods that were known as “crack point”

How do I get my hot water to stay hot longer?

I can’t even enjoy myself in the shower because the hot water runs out after about 10 minutes, then I’m left there to freeze. I’m used to taking 30 minute hot soothing showers! I just got out of the shower and was only to shave one leg because it got too cold. Does this mean I have a crappy hot water heater or what?

How do I find 2 new fantasy sports managers in central Missouri for a keeper league with live drafts?

I have created a fantasy sports league which is made up of the following sports;
NL only Baseball
AL only Baseball
Football
Hockey
Basketball
Nascar
Golf
March Madness

All of the games are played on Yahoo!
This is a keeper league (4 per yr, only 1 per position)
We have a farm system of 3 players
You can trade players from different sports
10 team league (need 2 more managers)
expansion to 12 on 2008
Live drafts
This is a MONEY league and there are monthly dues

If volcano’s are melting the ice caps in the Arctic then?

why are some scientist blaming made made global warming? Just as new species of plant and animal life are being discovered others are becoming extinct. Seems the earth is continuing to evolve as normal and will be around a lot longer then man ever will be. What do you think.

Home made baby food - have you heard of this?

Have any of you tried making/using home made baby food?

Any good instructions or resources such as websites? Tips/suggestions?

I read on one website that this lady would steam then mash different varieties of veggies then put them in ice trays and freeze. She would then (I assume) move them to a freezer storage bag. She would regularly make 2 months worth of food and store it.

I assume she would microwave or thaw each cube in water before feeding.

Does this sound OK? Ever tried it?

Why do i get yelled at?

I’m a figure skater and I’m going to be in an Ice show. So for my routines I always end up starting with a great spot. I feel like I do what I am supposed to and also get demoted. Then I vent to my parents and they yell at me instead of helping me.
