i met a girl last week, and i dont want to date her, but i would kiss her. what is a good thing to say to her like on facebook, to sort of break the ice. were not like complete strangers, bc we have a lot of the same friends, but i just met her. thanks

If one were consume a block of ice as opposed to splinters, would the energy expended be the same for both?

My colleague believes that if the portions of ice were equal, then the amount of energy required should also be equal. I maintain that as the block of ice would resist change, then the body would have to work longer (therefore exert more work/energy) in order to break it down. What is the right answer though. . .

Six days a week, I go to the gym to work out. Of those 6 days, I see a girl at the gym who comes about 3 of those days. I find her to be really attractive, and I think she is interested in me. However, everytime I’m by her, I am too shy to say anything. How do you “break the ice” and start talking to a girl in this type of scenario?

Was that nasty or what? Girardi hip checks Downie, Downie’s skate flies up and catches liney Pat DaPuzzo in the face then all chaos erupts in the form of a near line brawl. (3 pairs of fighting majors) The penalty boxes currently look like flop houses with all the bodies in there.
7 CommentsDaPuzzo, like any typical hard nosed hockey guy, attempts to get in and break up the fights before being pushed out by two of the other officials. Just proof that the officials are just as tough as the players.
The question, who thinks that DaPuzzo will get patched up and get back on the ice this game?
Joe: I am going to be out for a week just watching that shot. I would be out for 2 if I had actually received it.
Joe:I have been fortunate enough to have never taken a skate blade. Pucks rank as the leading contributor to me receiving hazard pay with sticks being a close second.
That’s a shame about DaPuzzo. Someone may have more inside information but the official word is 40+ stitches along with possible nose, cheek and orbital fractures. Depending on what they find with the rest of these tests, that may be his final game.

I am SICK of being RIDICULED!
My husband is acting like a f****n baby. He says very mean things at times like calling me his “fat wife” or telling me that I have a flat *** ( I DO NOT - trust me ) I told him if he doesn’t like me the way I am he can go get another woman,
The other day a stranger told him I was very beautiful and he said that I wasn’t and that was why he had someone on the side - he was “joking”.
But it’s only funny when 2 people are laughing.
When I called him out on it, he got very defensive and told me some more mean things that are too embarassing to even say. I told him not to talk to me until he was ready to apologize to me about it because it was SO MEAN. We have not talked for 4 days. And he has been getting home at 2-3 am every night.
I know he holds grudges (which he shouldnt because I didn’t do anything!) so I am usually the one to break the ice because not talking is so dumb!
IM SICK OF BEING PUT DOWN! This time I feel like I need to stand up for myself and not talk to him until he has the decency to apologize.
Is this going to work?
I already HAD the conversation about how this made me look and feel the same day so there wouldn’t be any misunderstandings.

Is it a good idea to break all friendship ties with her?

I have an old friend who was my classmate both during the middle school as well as my high school years. We weren’t actually friends during that time, only started to become something like friends after we graduated from college. Sometimes we met for an ice-cream, went out for a movie, or chat on MSN. Even though it’s usually me, who’s looking for her company and not the other way around, I feel as if she would never contact me unless if I did so. Last night she responded a bit rude for a question I asked her and I feel like it’s not coincidential. She probably wants me to leave her alone. If that’s the case, I can’t force this friendship, and I’m ready to break all the ties with her if that’s what she prefers. I even have planned to block her on my MSN Messenger contact list. Do you think it’s a good idea? This friendship wouldn’t have a future anyway, for it’s me, as for she doesn’t look for my company like I’m looking for hers. What do you think I should do?
