Is it possible to remove dents from white painted appliances?

I just purchased a new washer and dryer. There are 3 small dents on the top of the washer. Even though I did get a good discount, I’m finding that they really bug me. I read one response that you can remove dents from stainless steel appliances using heat then dry ice. Will this work on white appliances too?

What do you think of this story, I am thirteen but I want you to give your honest oppinion?

It’s not even close to being finished.

Mystery Was A Mystery

The stars were shinning brightly on the ordinary night. The air blowing freely was dry and cold. It gave a loud whistle through the trees. It was cold enough to snow but yet the air was like dry ice. It had always snowed in the winter every year but for the past 9 years no one has seen a flake of snow, fall from the sky. Even when a large gray cloud would cross the sky nothing would ever happen. As well even in the spring a drop of rain did never fall down. It was a very dry land to live in with the chilly air running down your spine. It would be a miracle to see some hope fall out of the sky.
The train took a quick stop, with a screeching noise. Tom and Cody grabbed a flashlight and pointed the ray towards the track. Although they had heard a train stop with the screeching noise, nothing of the sort was even near. The cold wind stung as it blew across their face.
Puffs of steam poured out of their mouth, as Tom whispered to Cody “you heard that right?”
“Yeah,” Cody whispered while nodding his head. Tom clutched his flashlight tighter.
“Maybe we should head back home,” Tom whispered with a cold numb face. “Alright that’s a great idea,” Cody’s flashlight started to fade.
“Tom how’s your flashlight?”
“It’s fading out, hurry let’s get home fast!” The boys ran home with all their might and Cody’s shoelace got caught on a piece of rotted wood lying on the floor.
“Help!”
“Hold on Tom shouted out of breath from running so fast. Both boys started to run but Tom’s flashlight went completely out. They stopped and watched the other flashlight take its last breath of light. It was pitch black except for some hope straight ahead of them. A small light seemed to be the only way back. They followed it until they could clearly see what it was. What they had seen as a light so far away was a fiery red rock that glowed as bright as the sun. It was nearly midnight and the boys needed to find a way home. They had no idea what to do they quietly sat down and fell asleep.
When it was morning the boys remembered everything and the best part about it was that they knew where they were at and could go home. The boys ran half way home and started to remember something. Something very important was forgotten. They ran back and once again saw the fiery red rock glowing as bright as day was night. Once again the boys were lost, but not lost, they were lost in their minds as in what they should do.
“Cody, don’t you think our parent s are worried, although I know this wondrous thing should be left out here all alone for the world to see?”
“Yeah, but what should we do?” Replied Cody still frozen from the cold, cold night. Tom took out of his pocket a pair of gardening gloves, which he had just used the previous day to pull weeds in his mom’s garden.
“What, and you think your going to pick it up?” Said Cody sarcastically.
“Well yeah, why not?”

Well this is not for school. Also I am in 8th grade and am taking honors english.

Dry ice, water, and sublimation- is this an accurate statement?

Is it an accurate statement to say that when dry ice is dropped into water, it heats up, brings the water temperature down, and speeds up sublimation? Also, when bubbles are broken at the top of the water, the fog that comes out is water- I know that. So where is the carbon dioxide? Actually, just explaining what the bubbles contain, what the bubbles are made of, and how it affects the freezing point of water would be helpful (any, all, none, or some). I need this for a project so please, please help!!
Excuse the non-scientific terms. I’m studying for finals and my mind is pretty much absent right now.

Can I use dry ice in a large container of ice for cooling canned or bottled beverages?

I’m having an outdoor party, in August, and want an affordable way to keep the beers ice cold, but I’m worried that a large container of just ice will melt too quickly. Is it feasible to put a few blocks of dry ice on the bottom, cover with regular ice and then put in the drinks?? Anyone??

Is there H2O water ice on Mars or is it dry ice (solid carbon dioxide)?

I see news stories about water on Mars but they mean H20 water right? I’ve had this argument with a friend. I don’t thinkthey found H2O water and he thinks they have. He says what else could ice be made of? But there is dry ice which is chemically different right?

Can anyone confirm this either way; and also, would you be so kind to link a website setting the matter straight?

Thanks
