During a recent olympics which figure skater skated to “Save the Last Dance for Me” during the champions gala?

I think it was the 2002 Olympics, but maybe 2006. One of the male figure skaters chose to skate to Michael Buble’s “Save the Last Dance For Me” during the champions gala. Anyone remember who this was?

Ice Skating?

I had another student at school tell me that I was no longer a figure skater because I haven’t taken lessons for about 2 years. I was a decent skater and I still try to skate when my pain is bearable, and I would certainly be skating if my body would allow me to. Do you think this no longer makes me a figure skater, just because I haven’t taken lessons?
I was in private lessons, competing on a regular basis, and I try to practice my basic jumps and moves as long as my body tolerates it.

Im a girl ice hockey player. I play on my school JV ice hcoeky team with all guys. And every figure skater ive ever met have ben self centered, bitchy, and bratty.
they all seem to **** me and pick little fights with me before my practice which is right after theres. When I walk past them they always say something bitchy why?!?!?!

They want men who are

Taller
Fatter
Cook better
Have larger breasts
Can attract more men
Better housekeepers
Better ballet dancers
Better figure skaters
Better at fellatio
More tender in a stir-fry

If you are not at least most of these things she will despise you. Some of you women are no doubt going to deny this, but come on ask yourself; If you were taller or a better figure-skater or more tender in a stir fry than a man would not your opinion of him plummet immediately?

Will i lose my figure skating jumps/spins since i got hurt?

im a figure skater, and i fractured my leg in august/september, but ive been out of skating for only 7 weeks. will i lose my jumps and spins because of this, and how long approximately should it take to get everything back to normal when i had been skating. today has been 2 weeks since i got my boot off from the fracture, and my orthopedist said that in two weeks (two weeks ago) that i could skate. so sometime this week or next week ill go to the rink for a lesson with my coach most likely, but what will it feel like?! this ever happen to anyone or something similar happen to you?!
my leg isnt fractured anymore, and ill be skating in a few days just right now im sick.

Question: What is the youngest Triple Axel completed in competition (Figure Skating)?

Hi Guys

I am a figure skater and I just finished a competition in which i sucessfully pulled off a triple Axel. I am 14 years of age.

I came off the ice and my coach took one look at me squeezed my guts out and cried. I don’t knw why she would do that considering i nailed that jump all the time in practice…I asked her why she was crying and all she would say is “I AM SO PROUD OF YOU” haha she kinda freaked me out.

So I guess my question is What is the youngest age a triple Axel has been done in competition?

Ice Skating music suggestions?

I need a piece which is at least 2 mins long. I am capable of jumps up to double flip and i can do all flying spins. I am 15. It has to have NO LYRICS. I am really looking for a upbeat song which is showy like diamonds are a girls best friend (see my other questions) but i can’t find it. I am a solo figure skater and the music is for my free programme.
