Does homeowners insurance cover our refrigerator if it got hit by lightning? And what would the process be?
December 9th, 2009 Posted by: admin
The freezer won’t freeze anything, there is no ice in the ice maker- its just water, and everything is melting and spoiling. I believe it got hit by lightning the other night in a storm we had. Will Homeowners cover it?

why don’t clouds freeze, like ice?
December 7th, 2009 Posted by: admin
clouds are nothing more than visible moisture; and the higher one is in our atmosphere, the colder it is… shouldn’t clouds also freeze, like ice in the freezer? is it because the air is thinner as one gets higher? Airplanes fly effortlessly through clouds.

Would a house for sale that does not include a refrigerator prevent you from buying?
December 4th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Our house is due to go on the market tomorrow and I really don’t want to include our new refrigerator because it’s not even paid for yet. It’s one of those ones with the french doors, ice maker and freezer on the bottom. All of the other appliance in the kitchen are new also, but they are paid for. I’ve seen listings for homes that don’t include a refrigerator, but I’m wondering what the average person would think. Would this prevent you from buying the house? Thanks!

What is the easiest way to get ice cubes out of those plastic icecube shapes?
December 3rd, 2009 Posted by: admin
We have these hard plastic shapes which you fill with water and then stick in your freezer. When getting the icecubes out of the shapes I usually run some warm water over the back and then bend the shapes, but it’s still hard to get them out. Any ideas?

I have a leak in my refrigerator. It is a frigidaire side by side with french doors?
November 22nd, 2009 Posted by: admin
It leaks water below the freezer door. I have disconnected the ice maker water supply, but it still is dripping a small amount and wrecking my laminate wood floor. Any ideas?

how can I make ice in a perfect vacuum atmosphere, with out much cost? ?
November 21st, 2009 Posted by: admin
I have a vacuum pump used for casting that pulls 32(?) mercury, I know the engine wouldn’t work in a freezer, not to mention the exhaust. would pvc cut into a hole of a freezer slow the oil in the engine?

Having problems with our side by side Hotpoint refrigerator?
November 8th, 2009 Posted by: admin
This weekend our refrigerator just quit cooling on the refrigerator side, its sixty degrees in there when its turned to the highest cooling mark. And the ice maker isn’t putting out much ice. Its staying a little colder o the freezer side but not much, we put the stuff from the refrigerator over there and it keeps the milk cold but nothing freezes. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I do not have money to buy a new one, or even get a repairman. Thanks.
