ok do you think that someone who can compete a pre-preliminary compulsary program should be in competition with a full program……..also what is the best way to find out where there’s competitions at also is there very many ice skating rinks that aren’t ALL about HOCKEY??? because most rinks I try to find competitions at there like strictly hockey rinks and my rink really doesn’t have alot of competitions and my coach doesn’t really tell me where there’s competitions cause most of the girls I know could care less about competing and I’m freeskate 6 and im like ya I wanna compete duh but I just don’t know so any tips that you have would be much appreciated….thanks 4 ur help

Basically, I’m a 19 year old male and recently went out on ‘the lash’ up my local town. I couldn’t really figure out the best way to know if any of the girls were interested in me or not. How can I tell & what are the best ‘ice breakers’ with them as I’m not a very good talker (I lack a lot confidence to be precise).

I have girls 3 and 6 and they are just learning to ice skate, but each time we come off the ice their feet are freezing and they are in tears before I get their skates off. I was told to put two pair of dry socks on before their skates, and that will work - I was told to let them wear a different pair of socks to skating and remove those socks before I put the other two dry pair on - so no sweat can build up in these socks from their boots.

But that has not worked. I use cotton socks, should I use wool? What else can I do, I just **** having them with cold, soar feet and in tears every time we skate. Unfortunately the rink is very cold where they take their lessons…so that does not help.

Any tips on keeping kids feet warm - in skates - in boots - any time????

i asked out my first girl friend on wensday after our 8th grade graduation.

she said yes.
then thursday friday i was realy busy.

so i called 2 hours ago today on her cell.
she didnt answer and it went to the answering machine.
i left a mesage with my phone number.

im going to take her ice skating but we dont know when yet.

how long should i wait before calling ehr back, with out sounding realy desperate ( even though i am) lol

and how should i ask if she has an IM account so we can chatt online?

I was at my friend’s christmas party a little while ago and my boyfriend and me had went together (i’m 14) but anyway one of his friends flug a christmas cupcake at me and it landed on my chest on my shirt.So the icing was on my shirt on my left ****** so my boyfriend LICKS it off!Its was really funny all the guys were yelling way to go and stuff and the girls were just staring it was funny and a little akward but oh well.

I have a boy, who we agree we love each other but we don’t have the title of boyfriend and girlfriend, but on Saturday ( I was invited but I couldn’t go) He went ice skating with a bunch of friends (some of my friends too) and with a girl. We’ll call her Penny. But apparently they both were flirting with each other and both of them have two completely different stories that is directed at the other. Yet my friends who went, have one story that is similar to both stories.
I told Penny to back off if anything happens between them again, because what they were doing was inappropriate to both of their lovers. Since Penny has a boyfriend, she shouldn’t even be considering contributing to other boy’s flirts.
We emailed each other on facebook and she told me that my love (we’ll call him Walter) was doing more than what she was doing, but she made it clear that she didn’t do anything to stop it and that I should **** off. And she also mentioned that she was hotter than me and that Walter wants her. But I stood clear of my rights and told her that looks didn’t matter to me and that Walter doesn’t go for looks anyway and goes for personality. I was actually right because Walter said before this email that the two of them never existed in the first place and never will.
I never backed down thinking I was the one who was wrong and not her. Because I’m not the one who went off flirting with other boys when I have a commitment to another.
I told her off and she didn’t respond back, and I made it clear to others how much she cares about her friends. Because she’s done this to other girls as well who’ve had boyfriends. I don’t think that Walter and I will continue our love because he has broken promises before and have done things like this before.
But I’ve been feeling so angry lately at Penny even though I won the argument and even though I stayed calm and reasonable to her. Even though she comes back at me saying that I wasn’t mature for life, but the conversation we were having didn’t have anything to do with maturity. I never swear to her or had physical fights with her. But I feel like I must try to hurt her, even though I know I can’t because that is wrong. how do I get over this feeling?
I’m not a violent person, but I get urges to slice her throat. I don’t want to do that though! I wouldn’t do that to anything or anyone, but these feelings are just so strong and it makes me go insane. What do I do? How can I overcome this? HELP ME!
I won’t actually do anything to her, but just thinking about it gives me the creeps.

I’m 17. Well I’m not sure whether I should ask her out - She knows how much I liked her two years ago and never done anything. I mostly know her from social events with the group, but I tried to break the ice farther with her, one on one, two weeks ago and took her to the park, but got nothing out of it. After two yrs of knowing her, it would just be weird…..wouldn’t it? (and i’ve asked out other girls before…it’s just her that I can’t :\) What do you suggest I do?
