What is the easiest way to get ice cubes out of those plastic icecube shapes?

We have these hard plastic shapes which you fill with water and then stick in your freezer. When getting the icecubes out of the shapes I usually run some warm water over the back and then bend the shapes, but it’s still hard to get them out. Any ideas?

Are ends of the rink jacked up between periods in Dallas so the Stars’ opponents have to skate uphill?

I base this question on my observations of Dallas Stars home games. My brain tells me that the Stars use a very effective trap to keep other teams out of their zone, but my gut tells me that there are maintenance crew members pumping the hell out of hydraulic jacks under the rink surface every 45 minutes or so. Think about it - all it takes is a foot or two of elevation under your goal and BOOM, you get to spend 20 minutes coasting effortlessly downhill while your opponent gases himself peddling unsuccessfully into your zone. I wouldn’t put it past the Stars - especially that rat-faced Modano.

how do i help my burnt tongue?

i just burnt my tongue on my Straightener which goes over 400 degrees (don’t ask how this happened. And im guessing my tongue is going to swell like a big balloon and i wont be able to talk. Tomorrow i have a big debate and have to be able to talk. How can i make the swelling/pain go away,
