What is a good way to smooth out regular icing so that it looks like fondant?

I’ve heard that fondant tastes horrible, but I really like the look of how smooth it is. In the past i’ve had a lot of trouble getting the icing super smooth.
Also, is there anything that you can add to icing to make it a little bit stiffer, without changing the taste?

What if a girl plays ice hockey?

I’m taking a lot of ice skating lessons so I can play ice hockey, the only problem is my dad is not going to pay for my ice hockey because “it’s a boy’s sport” and I do not have a job that will give me enough pay. My whole family is trying to talk me out of it… I just try to ignore them but they keep bothering me about it. All of my friends are supporting me and most guys are surprised that I’m going to do it. Is it unattractive to guys?

I **** it when people are on my nuts about how girly my drink is… But i honestly like liquor a lot more than beer until later in the night ill drink anything haha. So far my list of manly drinks are:
White russians
Mojitos
Vodka cranberry
screw driver
long island ice tea
vodka tonic/gin tonic

Am I hopeless for figure skating?

Well, recently, after watching my friend figure skate, I decided I wanted to figure skate as well. So, I borrowed a couple of books and started reading some, but haven’t finished all of them. Anyways, I found the sport so artistic and thrilling, I decided I wouldn’t give up if I started. But the problem is, I’m so inflexible that I can’t even reach my toes. =[ Because of this inflexibility, do you think I won’t be able to figure skate? I would really like to do this sport a lot, but I’m afraid my inflexibility will stop me. Please answer.

What is a good brand of hockey skates for narrow feet?

I’ve been using Nike Bauer Supreme Enforcers, which were only 50 bucks but are much too wide. My feet move around inside them a lot, I’m thinking I should pony up a little more dough for a pair that actually fits. Among Mission, Tour, Easton, RBK, CCM and higher-end Nike Bauers which would be a good choice for long narrow feet? I wear 9.5 size shoes. Thanks!

Should i play hockey?

Im 17 and i have been figure skating for a little less then a year now. Where i live they have lessons for people my age who are new but older and want to learn, and they even have teams. I was only interested in playing house, and i wanted to know if it was a good idea to switch to hockey. Im getting kind of bored of figure skating, and i think hockey just seems so cool. I know its physically demanding but i miss playing sports so much. I stopped lacrosse after 8th grade (long story) so i know i have been in a physical sport before( i also was defender so even though im small i was pretty rough), and i also know that womens hockey doesn’t allow checking and a lot of foul play like you see in the nhl or guys hockey, but i just want to know if its worth the transition. I tried hockey skates before, and yes i fell. but is it worth my time and money, because i really miss playing sports and hockey just sparks my interest. What do you think?

I just got my tonuge ring n there is a bump w/ puss in it i clean, my ring and the swellin went down its day 3?

i take motrin, clean it with biotene, and chew on a lot of ice. but this bump started showing on day 2… I mean it that normal? its healing pretty fast just to say i got it on friday november 28,2008.
