Is it rude to tell her she is driving me crazy with her ice chewing?
November 27th, 2009 Posted by: admin
My co-worker, who is also my friend, sits on the other side of the wall from my cubicle at work. She chews ice all day every day. I have to listen to her stir her hand around the cup looking for the right piece, then I have to hear the cruching sound, followed by lip smacking. I have dropped hints to her, and told her she could chip her teeth, etc., but she doesn’t get it. I can’t put headphones on because I need to hear my phone ringing. I am about ready to ask our facilities department to move me. I have always been annoyed by people making noises with their mouths, and smacking their lips. It is completely intolerable 8 hours straight 5 days a week. Anyone have any advice?

how do i break the ice at my party?
November 23rd, 2009 Posted by: admin
I’m turning 14 next week and planning a party in a few weeks. its going to be a nightclub theme so music will be a big part of it. i need ideas for creative invitations, music styles ( i was thinking of just putting on a Ministry of Sound CD ) decorations, food and drink(mock-tails?) safety things like a bouncer and how to stop that initial awkwardness that may occur at the start of the party. The venue will b e at my house, in my yard/pool/large living room which i will take furniture out of. I need safety ideas too to stop people sneaking in. I really want this to go well so if you could help that would be great!

I was in a “ritzy” neighborhood today?
November 22nd, 2009 Posted by: admin
My friend’s dad lives in an upscale neighborhood. I went to visit her there and noticed a few things that seemed odd. We stopped to grab some ice cream in a normal shop, but the people were very different than the ones from my area of town. I don’t live in a bad area or anything, but it’s certainly not upscale. Anyway, I kept trying to figure out exactly what made them seem more upscale. Yes, their clothes fit a little better and seemed to be of better quality, but that wasn’t the difference I was feeling. Yes, their attitudes were a little different, too, but that wasn’t it. What made them seem so strange to me? If I dressed someone from my neighborhood in these people’s clothes, gave them the same amount of money, and told them to act the same way, they would still stick out like sore thumbs. What’s the difference? What’s the strange thing I can’t explain that separates them? Thanks.

two (drinkers or smokers) To other people— on the road.
I am really interested in the answer I will get. Cig don’t kill on the

Do you think the world is being told the truth about “GLOBAL WARMING”?
November 21st, 2009 Posted by: admin
In an article published in December, Canadian and US researchers predicted that by 2040 Arctic Ocean ice will nearly disappear in the summer off the north coast of Greenland and Canada, opening a maritime corridor that would reduce shipping time between Europe and Asia. …….. this was a statement made after a large peice of ice broke from an arctic circleshelf…….always thinking capitolistically. How can people who think of the”FINANCIAL BOTTOMLINE” be trusted to look out for humanity?!

Does anyone know where you would be able to purchase dry ice?
November 14th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I am looking for some dry ice for a Halloween party, just a little bit so I can have a “smoking” cauldron. Any suggestions?
Oh, and this party is going to be in an apartment building, will the smoke set off any alarms? Is it safe to have around people?

Are anti-global warming people actually that uninformed?
November 9th, 2009 Posted by: admin
The evidence is overwhelming if you know any scientists in any fields remotely associated with global warming. Large sheets of ice shelf melt in Antarctica, the north pole ice cap is reducing in size, Greenland has glaciers retreating leaving land that hasn’t seen sunlight in 10,000 years. What is it with these people and science? What is it you don’t get?

What’s the proper way of throwing a dart while playing cricket?
October 9th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Now you curry munchers know what it’s like when people flood your boards with questions about similarly named sports without checking the context of the forum first.
4 CommentsHockey’s played on ice, football’s played by black superathletes running into eachother at speeds only world class sprinters can acheive, and cricket is something played with darts while you’re drunk at the bar in certian circles, so please check the contexts of the forum before you bother us with your questions in broken English. Thank you.
You don’t like anybody asking you about the dart game on your clearly marked cricket forum and we don’t like you asking about who scored a hat trick in a gridiron football forum or talking about corner shots in the hockey forum.
