Physics question to all people that are good at physics?

A circular curve of radius R in a new highway is designed so that a car traveling at speed v can negotiate the turn safely on glare ice (zero friction). If a car travels too slowly, then it will slip toward the center of the circle. If it travels too fast, then it will slip away from the center of the circle. If the coefficient of static friction increases, a car can stay on the road while traveling at any speed within a range from vmin to vmax. Derive formulas for vmin and vmax using mu for µ, and v, R, and g as appropriate.

Two figure skaters, one weighing 675 N and the other 750 N, push off against each other on very smooth ice.

1. If the heavier skater travels at 1.20 m/s, how fast will the lighter one travel?

A speed skater moving across frictionless ice at 10.0 m/s hits a 5.0 m wide patch of rough ice. She slows steadily, then continues on at 7.0 m/s. What is her acceleration on the rough ice?

Icebergs in the North Atlantic present hazards to shipping, causing the length of shipping routes to increase by about 30 percent during the iceberg season. Attempts to destroy icebergs include planting explosives, bombing, torpedoing, shelling, ramming, and painting with lampblack. Suppose that direct melting of the iceberg, by placing heat sources in the ice, is tried. How much heat is required to melt 10 percent of a 3.30×105 metric-ton iceberg? One metric ton is equal to 103 kg. Assume that the iceberg is at 0°C. (Note: To appreciate the magnitude of this energy, compare your answer to the Hiroshima atomic bomb which had an energy equivalent to about 15,000 tons of TNT, representing an energy of about 6.0×1013 J.)
