“At 0degrees Celsius, ice has a density of 0.9168g/cm^3 compared with water with 0.9999g/cm^3. a block of ice is placed in a beaker on a scale and found to weigh 1.26kg.”
1. what is the volume of ice present?
2. if the ice melts, what volume of water will be left in the beaker?
thanks in advance

our landlords husband is claiming we’re ruining the freezer part of the fridge with too much food~ it went out on us and spoiled about two weeks worth of food. *which isn’t a lot cause it’s just two of us* He’s been working on it for two days now & I don’t think it’s fixed still. He said it was brand new & there shouldn’t be any problems with it. If anyone cares to know, we had two small packages of chicken, a package of hamburger meat, a bag of ice, two small cube steaks and a package of boneless skinless thighs that we’ve already been using so it wasn’t a full bag…. I’ve heard the less you have in a freezer, the harder it has to work to keep things frozen… what i’m worried about is wether these ppl are able to charge us for damages or something! do you think the freezer/fridge went out because of our food we store?? thanks in advance for answering, i couldnt find any help for this online….

I have an ice cream scoop in my kitchen, but I have never been able to make perfect ice cream balls. Does anyone know how to use the scoop properly?
Thanks in advance!
I have managed to make perfect balls. I use the ice cream scoop and go around the sides like this:

|___|
And as I make laps on the side of the cart, I go deeper.

Icebergs in the North Atlantic present hazards to shipping, causing the length of shipping routes to increase by about 30 percent during the iceberg season. Attempts to destroy icebergs include planting explosives, bombing, torpedoing, shelling, ramming, and painting with lampblack. Suppose that direct melting of the iceberg, by placing heat sources in the ice, is tried. How much heat is required to melt 10 percent of a 3.30×105 metric-ton iceberg? One metric ton is equal to 103 kg. Assume that the iceberg is at 0°C. (Note: To appreciate the magnitude of this energy, compare your answer to the Hiroshima atomic bomb which had an energy equivalent to about 15,000 tons of TNT, representing an energy of about 6.0×1013 J.)

My (ex)mother-in-law used to make the best (and softest) small chocolate chip cookies and they had a glaze icing on top. I am looking for the recipe. The icing glaze was not chocolate, or flavored, just clear-ish in color. I’d greatly appreciate your recipe if you know it. Thanks in advance.
Ok—what?? These are not just regular chocolate chip cookies. PLEASE….NO STUPID ANSWERS. WHAT A WASTE.
